Smash the Cake

These sessions are all about celebrating your little one and having fun. It’s usually for a first birthday, but it can be done for any age you want to celebrate.

We start with a few simple portraits, then bring out the cake and let your baby explore it in their own way. Some dive straight in, some take their time, and both are perfect.

The setups are kept simple, usually with balloons and soft colours, so the focus stays on your child and their personality. I do have a few outfit options available, but you’re very welcome to bring something special from home too. After the cake, we can also finish with a little bath session, which babies usually love and it makes for really cute, clean-up photos.

The session usually lasts around 1 hour.
